Alliance with InnSeason Resorts®
April 1, 2010 Laguna Hills, CA - Vacation Resorts International (VRI) announces the forming of a strategic alliance with InnSeason Resorts®. Under this alliance, VRI will assume the management responsibilities for seven (7) InnSeason owned or operated resorts plus the InnSeason Vacation Club®. InnSeason Resorts® will develop and implement marketing and sales solutions for VRI-manage d resorts in the eastern United States.
The following resorts joined the VRI family on April 1, 2010:
Captain's Quarters At Surfside Resort, located across the street from Falmouth Heights Beach in Falmouth, MA, features 33 one and two bedroom units with fireplaces, Whirlpool baths in the master bedroom, and efficiency kitchens. There is an outdoor pool on-site and 35 golf courses in the area.
The Edgewater Beach Resort, located in Dennis Port, MA, features 76 studio one and two bedroom units with hot tub baths in most units and efficiency kitchens. On-site amenities include 2,300 feet of private beach, putting green, fitness center, Wi-Fi, and glass enclosed indoor/outdoor pool.
The Falls At Ogunquit Resort, located in Ogunquit ME, features 77 one-bedroom units with Whirlpool spa and limited kitchenette with microwave and convenience refrigerator. The resort is located on Ogunquit's trolley route, minutes from the beach, restaurants and summer playhouse.
Harborwalk Resort, located minutes from the beach, downtown and island ferries in Falmouth, MA, features 26 hotel and suite units with sitting area and kitchenette. On-site amenities include a tanning deck and view of Falmouth Harbor.
Mountainview Resort, located in Jackman, ME, features 15 units-five individual two-bedroom log homes and ten one bedroom units in the main lodge. Units include fireplaces, cooking facilities, and Whirlpool baths in the log homes. On-site amenities include indoor/outdoor pools, exercise room, saunas, laundry and game room. Nearby amenities include fishing, snowmobiling, white-water rafting, and hiking.
Surside Resort, located on the ocean and Great Pond in E. Falmouth, MA, features 57 studio, one and two bedroom units with fully equipped efficiency kitchens. On-site amenities include indoor/outdoor pools and tennis. Nearby amenities include golf courses, quaint villages, and restaurants.
These resorts will join the VRI family on May 1, 2010:
Pollard Brook, located in the heart of White Mountain National Forest in Lincoln, NH, features 133 one and three bedroom units with kitchens and Whirlpool baths. On-site amenities include indoor/outdoor pools, saunas, fitness center, playground, and arcade. Nearby amenities include Loon Mountain, hiking, biking, and golf.
InnSeason Vacation Club® a points-based vacation ownership program designed to provide maximum flexibility to its members. There are currently about 5,600 Club members with plans to continue to increase the number of members as well as the number of resorts participating in the club.
Jan Samson, VRI's Senior Vice President of Business and Corporate Development states: "This is an extremely exciting event for VRI! Roy Fraser, VRI's Chairman and CEO, worked closely with Loren V. Gallagher, VRI''s President and General Counsel, to bring this alliance to fruition. Under the leadership of Mr. Fraser and his senior management team, VRI began with one resort 28 years ago and now manages over 160 resort and club locations in 27 states, Mexico and Canada, servicing more than 300,000 intervals.
